Back & Neck Pain

Almost everyone gets back pain at some time. A survey found that at any one time 33% of the population is suffering with back pain and up to 80% of the adult population will suffer significant back pain at some time in their life. Repeating activities such as bending, lifting or twisting, as well as poor posture or injury may lead to back pain. Your neck supports the weight and movement of your head and with the amount of driving, computer work and other daily activities that most of us do. Neck pain, life problems in the back, can be caused by poor posture, repetitive daily activities or direct injury. Chiropractors, where appropriate, can offer treatment, advice on reducing the risk of future injury and help with any rehabilitation that may be necessary.

Headaches

Headaches are common and almost everyone suffers from the odd one now and again. However if you have been suffering with more than you can cope, Chiropractic care may help by treating one of the causes of headaches.

Migraines are severe headaches, usually accompanied by other symptoms such as flashing lights, nausea or sensitivity to bright lights. Problems affecting the bones in your neck may cause headaches and be a contributory factor in the development of migraines.

Chiropractic treatment can help with cervicogenic (neck) headaches and migraines (prevention).
